We begin at day one of new construction, when everything a space could feel like is still open.
Molding the space itself: aligned openings, ceiling elements, sightlines, and natural light planned where you'll live most. The feeling of a room is decided here.
Architectural and decorative lighting, layered and tuned to the hour. It changes how a room feels before you notice a single object in it.
Honed stone, warm wood grain, custom millwork built to the shadow gap. The details your fingertips find first.
Furniture, art, objects, greenery. The layer that turns a space into your life, with the garden written into the plan.
Most studios stop at the surface.
LUPA designs the way a room feels.
We are a boutique interior design studio in Miami, working on high-end new construction across South Florida. Decor is half the story, and we love that half. The other half is shaped earlier: in proportion, ceiling and window lines, and where the natural light falls. One studio, one standard, from first drawing to final object.
Spatial planning, interior detailing, and custom millwork and stone design, drawn precisely enough to build from. Proportion, alignment, and natural light, decided before the furniture exists.
Years spent inside high-end builds taught us how a project actually runs. We don't just specify things: we understand the coordination behind every selection, who does what, and when — so we can support you, and your owner's rep, through the full process.
Materials, furniture, lighting, art, and greenery. The layer everyone sees, resting quietly on the layers no one does. Collected, warm, and unmistakably yours.
We join at day one of new construction, when every option is still open.
Full interior architecture and design documentation, coordinated with your architect and consultants.
We stay at the table through construction, coordinating with your builder and your owner's rep. Nothing lost in translation.
Furnished, styled, lit, and finished. You walk into a done room.
A small studio takes few projects and takes them personally. A selection of current and recent work across South Florida.
LUPA Design is the studio of Karina Elias, its founder and sole owner. Building is the family trade: Karina grew up around hotel construction in Venezuela, and the education never left her.
Before LUPA, she spent years designing at Strang, one of Florida's most recognized high-end firms, and years more as owner's representative on complex custom homes. That history is not a service we sell — it's the reason we can support you, and your owner's rep, through the entire build. We don't just specify things: we understand the coordination behind them, and who does what.
The result is a rare kind of calm for our clients: one studio accountable from the first drawing to the finished, styled room, and a home that feels the way you hoped it would.
Every project runs through Karina: the design language, the client relationship, and the standard both are held to.
Karina's right hand. Fidel brings an engineer's precision to interior architecture — the discipline where a millimeter is a decision.
